Data sources

Variable measurements can be entered into the Infor MES Data Entry page in these ways:

• Keyboard entry: Values are entered manually.
• Wedge: Converts digital inputs from a device into keystrokes.
• Device: Manually connects through USB or RS232.
• Calculation: Automatically calculated based upon a formula. Typically used to calculate averages. Other variables of the inspection can be used within the formula.
