Specification sets

A specification set is an abstract concept that links materials to inspection versions. They are collections of variables and attributes. These collections might be created for one of these reasons:

• Group together families of specifications
• Represent common aspects of specifications, such as different materials that share a common size, height, and diameter
• Group together specifications limits that have similar variations

Specifications sets are defined by providing values for material properties that they match against.
