Infor MES supports creating and managing production orders manually, but typically production orders are downloaded directly from either your ERP or third party scheduling software.

With production scheduling, planners can visualize production plans in real-time, where they can review and make changes to the schedule, enabling them to react faster to unplanned events while still optimizing capacity and resources.

After the schedule is set, changes are communicated directly to production in real-time.

Infor MES can handle all manufacturing processes, including discrete, batch, process, and assembly. It can also handle more complex scenarios, including co-production and campaigns.
