Tear down
Tear down is a period at the end of a job that represents when the line is being prepared to finish the current running job, to leave it ready to setup for the next job.
These are some of the typical tasks associated with tear down:
- Clearance of the line
- Cleaning of the machines
- Removal of tooling, if not performed when new tooling is prepared
Infor MES models this as another production stop, with a different reason.
The tear down begins when production has ended.
