Production order status

The production order status and the production run (job) status' are the same and flow from state to state in the same way.

The key difference is that the job status is managed through transactions. For example, scheduling a job, starting a job, or stopping a job. The production order status, however, is automatically managed in Infor MES, based on the status of the jobs belonging to the production order.

If the production order has a single job only, then the status of the production order mirrors the status of the job.
