Job corrections
Job corrections enable the history of jobs to be edited or corrected.
These are some common edits and corrections:
- Inserting completed jobs that were missed by the operators. These can be inserted between two previously completed jobs. However, the job cannot be left in progress, because later jobs exist on the line.
- Correcting the start time/end time of a job.
- Deleting jobs that were started in error.
Workflow-based jobs cannot be corrected, but these corrections can be made:
- Move start time on current jobs
- Current jobs can have their start time stamp moved in either direction so long as the time stamp is not in the future, or overlap any other jobs on the same line
- Move start time or end time on completed jobs
- Completed jobs can have their start or end time stamp moved in either direction so long as neither time stamp is in the future, nor overlaps any other job on the line.
- Delete current or completed jobs
- Current or completed jobs can be deleted. The production stop period that was ended
by the start of this job is extended to fill the gap in time.Note: To add or move a job into a period of time occupied by another job, space must first be made to accommodate the job. Adjusting one job does not automatically move any other job.
- Production stops
- Production stops are automatically adjusted as a result of corrections made to job start/end dates. Setup and ramp-up periods are also automatically adjusted.
- Production counts, scrap counts, and process parameter records
- Production counts, scrap counts, and process parameter records are automatically reclassified (either removing the reference to the job/material or reclassifying to the correct new job/material) if they fall into a period that was, or now is, covered by a job that had a correction applied.
- Line information and KPI data
- Line Information KPI data is automatically recalculated for the affected period of any correction.
- Inventory creation and usage records
- Inventory creation and usage records are automatically adjusted if they align to the
original job boundary. Creation that falls outside the adjusted time period for a job will either be automatically ignored, or will cause an error to be shown, depending on the line setting.Note: This line setting also controls how these records are handled when ending a job.
