Performance

The performance module in Infor MES collects key KPIs related to overall production performance.

Note: All KPIs are available in real-time for operators and for use with continuous improvement plans.

Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is the best measure of manufacturing performance to help increase production volumes and support lean initiatives. It is the most accurate when automatically collecting production counts, scrap, and downtime directly from the machines.

MES automates the collection and tracking of downtime, production counts, and waste to calculate OEE in real-time at production process level. This generates accurate manufacturing performance KPIs that are easily made available to users throughout the factory and on any device.

The module calculates OEE, in addition to other performance related KPIs:

Inventory KPIs
Consumption figures
Area and mass calculations

First Time Through Quality (FTTQ)

The OEE is split into the availability, performance, and quality figures as extra information to detect where the process can be improved.
