Rework counts

A rework count is a timestamped record that a quantity of material is being reworked. Infor MES knows the material because it is defined by the production order.

Rework counts are recorded periodically to tell MES that rework has been produced. Rework counts should be recorded as soon as possible for more accurate real-time data. Rework counts are added together over a time period, or a production run, to show the total amount reworked.

Note: If a rework piece needs to be reworked a second time, then this is recorded in MES as a separate rework count.
