Linking shift patterns to machines

Each shift pattern is linked to one or more machines. A machine can be linked to only one shift pattern at a time, but you can change a machine from one shift pattern to another by selecting the new shift pattern and stating when the change comes into effect.

In most cases, all machines in the line will have the same shift pattern, but you can also run each machine on a unique shift pattern.

Each machine has a location class that defines whether the machine is a production machine or a logistics work center, such as a warehouse or supermarket. This means that the shift patterns and crews for warehouses and supermarkets are defined in the same way.

You can review which crew was working when inventory transactions occur, for example, when it moved or had a change of state.
