Negative counts

There are two options available for negative counts in Infor MES.

The default option is to interpret negative movement as a roll-over. The counter is never negative, with the roll-over values used to calculate the difference. If the counter is manually reset, then a large incorrect number will be calculated as the value, because the system will roll-over at the roll-over value.

The other option is to permit negative movements, enabling negative counts to be recorded.
