Shifts
A shift is a time period where a specific crew is working. Shifts have a start time and an end time, for example, Red crew: 06:00 — 14:00.
Each shift defines the working hours for the crew.
Infor MES shows this information on dashboards and in reports to be presented in the context of a shift.
Non-working
If there is no crew working, then the [Non-Working] crew is used to fill the empty time gap.
These [Non-Working] shifts can later be changed to be working shifts by selecting a crew, this is useful for the occasional weekend working, or other unplanned additional shifts.
Caution:
It is not recommended to leave
gaps in the shift pattern, instead of configuring the shifts as non-working.
