Units

The production counter must be recorded in a specific unit, and for a specific material.

The unit for the production counter must be the same as the unit of the material and have a unit conversion defined.

For example, the material might be defined in kilometers (km), but the production count is recorded in meters (m).

The conversion between the two ensures the data is recorded in Infor MES with the correct quantity for the unit.
