Shutdown calendar

The shutdown calendar is used by the maintenance department so maintenance activities can be performed in planned shutdown periods.

The calendar is typically defined for a line or a set of machines that are all shutdown on the same day.

Multiple shutdown calendars can be defined for different lines or sets of machines.

Maintenance work may be scheduled to only occur on the shutdown days defined in the calendar. Infor MES automatically links to the closest shutdown day, based on the frequency defined for the procedure on the asset.

If procedures are aligned with a shutdown calendar, shutdown dates must be defined in the calendar. Otherwise, the future work cannot be scheduled.
