Material Properties

Material properties are the unique characteristics that define each material. These properties are what make one material different from another.

To view and configure material properties, navigate to Configuration > Materials > Material Properties.

You can use these options on the Material Properties screen:

• Add: Allows you to create a new material property.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing material properties.
• Delete: Allows you to delete the existing material properties.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing material properties. Retired material properties cannot be assigned to material types. Retired material properties can be excluded from reports unless included in the report’s filter options.
• List Values: Allows you to configure the values for the material properties.
• Ranges: Allows you to configure the ranges for the material properties.
