You can specify this information:
- Interlace Variable/Attributes

The sequence in which variables and attributes are recorded during inspection. Possible values:
- Variables First: Variables are recorded before attributes.
- Attributes First: Attributes are recorded before variables.
- Variables and Attributes Interlaced (Variables First): Variables and attributes are interlaced. However, variables are first.
- Variables and Attributes Interlaced (Attributes First): Variables and attributes are interlaced. However, attributes are first.
- Show step summary
- If this check box is selected, the application displays a step tracker on the data entry page.
- Rotatable Step Plan
- If this check box is selected, the application enables you to navigate back to the start of the step plan to specify missing data after reaching the end.
- Minimise inactive spreadsheets
- If this check box is selected, the application maximizes space for the active spreadsheet (variable, attribute or tag) by hiding inactive spreadsheets. If this check box is not selected, all spreadsheets are displayed.
- Allow Documents

If this check box is selected, the application enables you to upload documents when recording measurements.
- Support collection against materials other than the current job

If this check box is selected, the application allows data to be collected for materials other than the one currently being produced when performing production based inspections.
- Suspendable

Indicates how inspections can be placed on hold (suspended) and resumed by operators, allowing the process to be paused mid-check and then resumed at a later time. Possible values:
- No: The inspection cannot be suspended.
- Within Shift: The inspection can be suspended and can be resumed within the shift.
- Within 24 Hours: The inspection can be suspended and can be resumed within 24 hours.
- At Any Time: The inspection can be suspended and can be resumed at any time.
- Post-Commit Action

The action to be taken after data collection. Possible values:
- None: The application displays the previous screen.
- Advance to Next: The application moves to the next inspection.
- View Alarms: The application displays the open alarms.
- View SPC Charts: The application opens the SPC charts.
- Chain To Stopped Machines

Determines whether to include stopped machines when moving through an inspection chain. Possible values:
- Use Plant Setting: Use the settings defined on the plant.
- Always collect data: The application navigates to the next inspection regardless of whether the machine is stopped or not.
- Never collect data: Do not navigate to the next inspection if the machine is stopped.
- Ask User: The user is asked whether to collect data for the stopped machine.
- Prevent User from resuming incomplete checks
- If this check box is selected, you cannot resume inspections that are left incomplete.
- General Instructions
- The general instructions related to the inspection. This is usually short instructions to explain how to perform or the purpose of the inspection.
- Add Instructional Image?
- If this check box is selected, the application enables you to upload an image providing instructions for performing the inspection.
- Add Documents?
- If this check box is selected, the application enables you to add documents relevant to the inspection. The documents can then be viewed by the user performing the inspection.
- Default SPC Recall Data Band
- The default period over which SPC recall will occur for the SPC chart set created against the inspection.
- Running Specifications Only
- If this check box is selected, only data relating to the set of specifications currently running on the line is recalled for the SPC chart.
- Check Type
- The type of sample check the inspection is. See, Samples.
- Create Inventory Pack for Samples?
- If this check box is selected, the inspection creates a sample inventory pack. This setting is only available for inventory based inspections. See, Samples.
- Quantity Deducted from Sample?
- If this check box is selected, the sample’s quantity is deducted from the inventory it is taken from. This setting is only available if the Create Inventory Pack for Sample setting is selected. See, Samples.
- Sample Default Location
- The default location for samples. See, Samples.
- Sample Label Template
- The label template for printing sample labels. See, Samples.
