Maintenance Procedures

Maintenance Procedures are used to define a piece of Maintenance Work to be performed by the maintenance team on an asset. A procedure is planned to be executed on a schedule and defines the steps required and the relevant instructions.

To view and configure maintenance procedures, navigate to Configuration > Maintenance > Maintenance Procedures.

You can use these options on the Maintenance Procedures screen:

  • Add: Allows you to create a new maintenance procedure.
  • Edit: Allows you to modify the existing maintenance procedures.
  • Delete: Allows you to delete the existing maintenance procedures.
  • Retire: Allows you to retire the existing maintenance procedures. You cannot use retired maintenance procedures in production.
  • Schedule: Allows you to view and configure the schedule for maintenance procedures.
  • Steps: Allows you to view and configure the maintenance steps for maintenance procedures.
  • Revisions: Allows you to view the previous versions of maintenance procedures.
  • Planned Hours: Allows you to view and configure the planned hours for maintenance procedures.
  • Competent Personnel: Allows you to view and configure the personnel deemed competent to perform the maintenance procedures.
  • Groups: Allows you to view and configure the maintenance procedures groups associated with maintenance procedures.
