Departments

Machines are assigned to Departments using the Add or Edit option on the Machines screen. Departments play a crucial role in the organization’s reporting structure, serving as distinct categories for data analysis and performance assessment. Each machine is exclusively assigned to one specific department, ensuring clarity and precision in tracking the usage.

To view and configure departments, navigate to Configuration > Organisation > Departments.

You can use these options on the Departments screen:

  • Add: Allows you to create a new department.
  • Edit: Allows you to modify the existing departments.
  • Delete: Allows you to delete the existing departments.
  • Retire: Allows you to retire the existing departments. You cannot assign machines to retired departments. Retired departments are not accessible from dashboards and can be excluded from reports unless included in the report’s filter options.
  • Machines: Allows you to view machines that belong to the departments.
