Movement Request Definitions

Movement Request Definitions define the rules used to support replenishment activities between Warehouses, Supermarkets, and production machines. These rules determine which materials can be requested from specific machines and identify the destination machines to which the materials must be delivered. This configuration ensures controlled and efficient movement of inventory for various operational areas, supporting internal logistics and production workflows.

To view and configure movement request definitions, navigate to Configuration > Materials > Movement Request Definitions.

You can use these options on the Movement Request Definitions screen:

• Add: Allows you to create a new movement request definition.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing movement request definitions.
• Delete: Allows you to delete the existing movement request definitions.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing movement request definitions. New movement requests cannot be created for retired movement request definitions. Retired movement request definitions can be excluded from reports unless included in the report’s filter options.
