Asset State Reason Sets

Asset State Reason Sets are used to group individual Asset State Reasons into logical collections. These sets can be assigned to assets, allowing users to select from predefined reasons when changing an status of an asset.

To view and configure asset state reason sets, navigate to Configuration > Assets > Asset State Reason Sets.

You can use these options on the Asset State Reason Sets screen:

• Add: Allows you to create a new asset state reason set.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing asset state reason sets.
• Delete: Allows you to delete the existing asset state reason sets.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing asset state reason sets. You cannot use retired asset state reason sets in production.
• Reasons: Allows you to view and configure the asset state reasons for the asset state reason sets.
