Add document

The document attachment feature is available on various Infor MES screens, allowing users to import documents into selected records. To add a new Document, go to the relevant master data or production data report, select a record and click on the Attachment option.

  1. Navigate to the applicable screen within the MES functionality.
  2. Select a record and click Attachment. The Attachment window is displayed.
  3. Specify this information:
    URI
    The address of the document’s location. This field is only available if the Document Source field is set to 3rd Party.
    Document Type
    The type of the document.
    Description
    This document provides a description of purpose and usage.
    Language
    The language associated with the document.
    Plant
    The manufacturing plant(s) to which the document applies.
    Use an Existing Document
    If this check box is selected, you can select an existing document already uploaded into Infor MES.
    Select Files
    If you click this button, you are taken to your local folder to choose a document for uploading. This option is enabled only if the Use an Existing Document check box is cleared and if the Document Source field is set to Upload.
  4. Click OK.
