Machine Event Types
Machine Event Types serve as a systematic way to categorize Machine Events, operating like entries in a line logbook. This categorization helps organize and track different occurrences related to machine operations, providing clarity and structure for monitoring and analyzing events over time.

You can use these options on the Machine Event Types screen:
- Add: Allows you to create a new machine event type.
- Edit: Allows you to modify the existing machine event types.
- Delete: Allows you to delete the existing machine event types.
- Retire: Allows you to retire the existing machine event types. New machine events cannot used retired machine event types. Retired machine event types can be excluded from reports unless included in the report’s filter options.
