Adding an SPC calculation style
- Select . The SPC Calculation Styles screen is displayed.
- Click Add. The Add window is displayed.
- Specify this information:

Style Name

The name of the calculation style.

Cpk Threshold
-
The threshold value associated with the quality index SP. Cp values below the threshold are deemed to be no-capable of manufacturing good product.

Show Capability Only if stable

If this check box is selected, the application only reports capability in SPC statistics when the process is stable.

Calc Limits Based on

The calculation mode (XR, XS, Sigma 0) to calculate control limits.

Indices Based on

The method to calculate capability indices. Possible values:
- X R - Calculations based on sigma estimated = r/d2 (AIAG-XR). Normal Distribution
- X S - Calculations based on sigma estimated = s/c4 (AIAG-XS). Normal Distribution
- Sigma 0 - Calculations based on actual sigma. Normal Distribution
- CNOMO E41.32.110N - Capability indices specified by CNOMO standard E41.32.110N. Dimensional Characteristics. Normal Distribution
- CNOMO E41.32.120N - Capability indices specified by CNOMO standard E41.32.120N. Geometrical Characteristics. Shape and Position Distribution
- Non-Normal (Median) - Capability indices attributable to Davis Bothe. Non-Normal Distributions. Mid=Median. Spread=Max-Min
- PSA Q.54.4000 - Capability indices specified by PSA standard Q.54.4000. Geometrical Characteristics
- Unilateral QCI 9310-190 XR - Capability index specified by Honeywell QCI 9310-190 XR. Unilateral Geometrical Characteristics (Target=0)
