Meters

Meters are devices that are used to measure and record the amount or rate of energy consumed by a system, appliance, or facility. These meters are essential to monitor usage, enable billing, and support energy management strategies.

To view and configure meters, navigate to Configuration > Energy > Meters.

You can use these options on the Meters screen:

• Add: Allows you to create a new meter.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing meters.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing meters. Retired meters are excluded from reports by default but can be overridden in the report filters.
• Copy: Allows you to copy the existing meter to create a new meter.
• Meter Items: Allows you to view and configure items that are measured using a meter.
• Meter Groups: Allows you to assign and unassign meters to meter groups for reporting.
• Machines: Allows you to assign and unassign meters to machines.
