Adding a root cause

  1. Select Configuration > Concerns > Root Causes. The Root Causes screen is displayed.
  2. Click Add. The Add window is displayed.
  3. Specify this information:
    Type
    The type of the root cause.
    Line Type
    The type of line associated with the root cause.
    Machine Type
    The type of machine associated with the root cause.
    Root Cause
    The name of the root cause.
    Comment
    The additional information related to the root cause.
  4. Click OK.
