    Variable
The variable to which the limits apply.
    Specification Type
The classification type for the specification.
    Units
The unit of measure applicable to the limits and measurements.
    Spec Method
The method used to define the limits. Possible values:
    • Standard: Define limits based on the upper and lower values.
    • Tolerance: Define limits based on tolerances around a nominal value.
    USL
The upper specification limit. Measurements above this limit are considered out of specification. This field is displayed only if the Spec Method field is set to Standard.
    LSL
The lower specification limit. Measurements below this limit are considered out of specification. This field is displayed only if the Spec Method field is set to Standard.
    U Tol
The upper tolerance value. Measurements above this limit, in relation to the nominal value, are considered out of specification. This field is displayed only if the Spec Method field is set to Tolerance.
    L Tol
The lower tolerance value. Measurements below this limit, in relation to the nominal value, are considered out of specification. This field is displayed only if the Spec Method field is set to Tolerance.
    Nom
The nominal value used to calculate limits.
    URL
The upper reasonable limit. The application rejects values manually recorded and ignores values recorded via gauges, that are above the upper reasonable limit.
    LRL
The lower reasonable limit. The application rejects values manually recorded and ignores values recorded via gauges, that are below the lower reasonable limit.
    Dec Places
