You can specify this information:
- Inspection
- The name of the inspection.
- Version
- The name of the inspection version.
- Description
- The description of the inspection.
- Class
- The classification for the inspection version. See, Inspection class.
- Inspection Code
- The code of the inspection.
- Inspection Type
- The type of inspection. See, Inspection types.
- Applying To

The type of entity that the inspection is recorded against. Possible values:
- Pack: The inspection is recorded against an inventory pack.
- Production: The inspection is recorded against a production order.
- Assets: The inspection is recorded against an asset.
- Material Type
- The material type for which the inspection is for.
- Operation Inspection Code
- The operation inspection code for the inspection. This field determines applicable inspections and specifications for operations.
- Material Specific
- The material for which the inspection is for. Inspections are usually linked to materials using material properties. However, this field allows you to link an inspection to a specific material.
- Tool Specific
- The tool for which the inspection is for. Inspections are usually linked to tools using properties. However, this field allows you to link an inspection to specific tool.
- Head Alias
- The alias to use instead of the Head word for all heads on the inspection version.
- May Trigger Event Based Checks
- If this check box is selected, recorded measurements can trigger event-based assessments. This requires assistance from Infor.
- Data Collection Frequency
- The frequency with which the checks are performed. See, Inspection frequency.
