Specification Limits

Specification Limits are tolerances used to evaluate measurement data for quality standards. These limits determine whether a measured value falls within acceptable boundaries for a selected specification.

To view and configure specification limits, navigate to Configuration > Quality > Specification Limits.

You can use these options on the Specification Limits screen:

• Add: Allows you to create a new specification limit.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing specification limits.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing specification limits. You cannot use retired specification limits in production.
• Edit From Date: Allows you to modify the date from which specification limits apply.
