Specification Sets

Specification Sets represent a collection of specifications used in an inspection plan, to collect a defined set of variables and attributes. These sets enable standardized quality inspections for various materials and processes. Specifications Sets can be used across different jobs, materials and production lines, saving configuration time, and ensuring quality standards.

To view and configure specification sets, navigate to Configuration > Quality > Specification Sets.

You can use these options on the Specification Sets screen:

• Add: Allows you to create a new specification set.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing specification sets.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing specification sets. You cannot use retired specification sets in production.
• Copy: Allows you to copy an existing specification set to create a new one.
• Variables: Allows you to configure variables within the specification sets.
• Attributes: Allows you to configure attributes withing the specification sets.
• Specifications: Allows you to configure specifications within the specification sets.
