Adding an asset state

  1. Select Configuration > Assets > Asset States. The Asset States screen is displayed.
  2. Click Add. The Add window is displayed.
  3. Specify this information related to asset state on the Asset State tab:
    State
    The name of the asset state.
    Workflow
    The asset state workflow to use for the asset state.
    Code
    The code of the asset state.
  4. Specify this information related to asset state on the States tab:
    Asset In Use
    If this check box is selected, the status indicates that the asset is currently in use.
    Available For Use
    If this check box is selected, the status indicates that the asset is available for use.
    Required Cleaning
    If this check box is selected, the status indicates that the asset requires cleaning.
    Required Maintenance
    If this check box is selected, the status indicates that the asset requires maintenance.
    Requires Measuring
    If this check box is selected, the status indicates that the asset requires measurement.
    Requires Repairing
    If this check box is selected, the status indicates that the asset requires repair.
    End Of Life
    If this check box is selected, the status indicates that the asset is considered to have reached the end of life.
    In Tool Assembly
    If this check box is selected, the status indicates that the asset is part of a tool pack.
  5. Click OK.
