Inventory Change State Reason Sets

Inventory Change State Reason Sets are used to group related Inventory Change State Reasons that apply to the same materials. This grouping facilitates consistent and efficient assignment of reasons when inventory states are changed, ensuring that only relevant options are displayed based on the material context.

To view and configure inventory change state reason sets, navigate to Configuration > Inventory > Inventory Change State Reason Sets.

You can use these options on the Inventory Change State Reason Sets screen:

• Add: Allows you to create a new inventory change state reason set.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing inventory change state reason sets.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing inventory change state reason sets. You cannot assign retired inventory change state reason sets to materials.
