OPC Groups

OPC Groups are used to group OPC items which require to be read at the same frequency and with the same trigger method. The OPC items can also be related to each other for the purposes of triggering downstream actions via scripts or calculating formulas.

To view and configure OPC groups, navigate to Configuration > OPC > OPC Clients > OPC Servers > OPC Groups.

You can use these options on the OPC Groups screen:

  • Add: Allows you to create a new OPC group.
  • Edit: Allows you to modify the existing OPC groups.
  • Delete: Allows you to delete the existing OPC groups.
