Line Types

Line types are primarily used to group manufacturing lines for reporting purposes. Each line is assigned a specific type.

To view and configure line types, navigate to Configuration > Assets > Line Types.

You can use these options on the Line Types screen:

• Add: Allows you to create a new line type.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing line types.
• Delete: Allows you to delete the existing line types.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing line types. You cannot assign lines to retired line types. Retired line types can be excluded from reports unless included in the report’s filter options.
• Lines: Allows you to view and configure lines within the line types.
• Reasons: Allows you to view the production stop reasons within the line type’s default production stop reason set.
