Adding an energy profile

  1. Select Configuration > Energy > Energy Profile. The Energy Profile screen is displayed.
  2. Click Add. The Add window is displayed.
  3. Specify this information:
    Energy Profile
The name of the energy profile.
    Ambient Temp
The temperature outside the oven or the starting temperature of the oven.
    Coefficient Heat Loss Cool
The coefficient representing energy lost during cooling (vents open). This value is a negative number.
    Coefficient Heat Loss Heat Hold
The coefficient representing energy lost while maintaining temperature (vents closed). This value is a negative number.
    Default Part Mass
The default weight of each part processed in the oven.
    Energy Transfer Loss
The percentage of input energy that is lost or not used for heating.
    Heat Capacity
The heat capacity of the parts processed.
    Heating Power Input
The power (in watts) consumed per second when the oven is active.
    Target Cool Temperature
The temperature to which the oven must cool before the job is considered complete and ready for the next cycle.
    Target Hold Time
The percentage of the total job duration that is intended for maintaining the target temperature. For example, if the job time is 100 seconds and the Target Hold Time field is set to 0.25, the application holds the target temperature for 25 seconds.
    Target Temperature
The temperature the oven must reach before initiating the hold cycle.
    Temp Threshold
The temperature threshold. If the oven reaches the target temperature minus the specified threshold, the application considers the oven temperature reaches the target.
  4. Click OK.
