Process Type tab
You can specify this information:
- Process type
- The name for the process type.
- Production Mode
-
The production mode for the process type. Possible values:
- Standard: A single material is created for the production order.
- Graded: A single material is created for the production order. However, the created material receives a grading to describe the quality.
- Expected Co-Production: Multiple materials are created on this production order, using a recipe job. The created material is booked based on pre-defined receiving production orders.
- Expected Co-Production (Position Restrictions): Multiple materials are created on the production order, using a recipe job. The created material is booked based on pre-defined receiving production orders. However, machine positions must match those on the assigned production orders.
- Expected Co-Production (Group Restrictions): Multiple materials are created on the production order, using a recipe job. The number of position groups allowed is limited by the Max Value, which defines the number of places in the machine that can create material.
- Expected Co-Production (Width Restrictions): Multiple materials are created on the production order, using a recipe job. The created material is booked based on the pre-defined receiving production orders.
- Unexpected Co-Production: Multiple materials are created on the production order, using a recipe job. The created material is booked based on the production orders; however, these orders cannot be pre-defined because the materials created are not expected.
- Creates By-Product?
- If this check box is selected, by-products are created during the process.
- Automatically start a job when scanning inventory
- If this check box is selected, a job automatically starts when an inventory pack is scanned for consumption.
- Tick if this process should default to rescheduling the remaining quantity as a new job
- If this check box is selected, by default the system reschedules the remaining job quantity as a new job when the quantity of the original job is not met.
- Can change the BOM linked to the order when start the job?
-
Determines whether the user can change the Bill of Materials (BOM) linked to the production order when starting a scheduled job. Possible values:
- Always: Users can always change the BOM.
- Never: Users cannot change the BOM.
- Based on Work Order: Users can change the BOM based on the configuration selected when scheduling an order.
