Machine Stop Reasons

Machine Stop Reasons are critical indicators that provide explanations for interruptions in machine operation. These reasons provide information that explains the cause of each stoppage and helps ensure that disruptions can be identified and managed promptly. Some machine stops reasons such as Blocked, Started and Unknown come pre-configured.

To view and configure machine stop reasons, navigate to Configuration > Production > Machine Stop Reasons.

You can use these options on the Machine Stop Reasons screen:

• Add: Allows you to create a new machine stop reason.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing machine stop reasons.
• Delete: Allows you to delete the existing machine stop reasons.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing machine stop reasons. You cannot use retired machine stop reasons in production.
