Line Sections

Line Sections are used to represent a set of machines in a line that are always grouped together. A line must always have at least one line section.

To view and configure line sections, navigate to Configuration > Assets > Lines > Line Sections.

You can use these options on the Line Sections screen:

• Add: Allows you to create a new line section.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing line sections.
• Delete: Allows you to delete the existing line sections.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing line sections. Retired line sections cannot be assigned to lines. Machines cannot be assigned to retired line sections. Retired line sections can be excluded from reports unless included in the report’s filter options.
• Other Lines: Allows you to view the other lines to which the line sections are assigned.
• Machines: Allows you to view the machines which belong to the line sections.
