Inventory Change State Reasons

Inventory Change State Reasons are used to describe the justification for changing the Inventory State of an Inventory Pack. These reasons provide traceability and context for state transitions, supporting audit requirements, quality control, and operational transparency.

To view and configure inventory change state reasons, navigate to Configuration > Inventory > Inventory Change State Reasons.

You can use these options on the Inventory Change State Reasons screen:

• Add: Allows you to create a new inventory change state reason.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing inventory change state reasons.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing inventory change state reasons. You cannot use retired inventory change state reasons when changing the state of an inventory pack.
