- Select . The Tool Types screen is displayed.
- Click Add. The Add window is displayed.

The properties associated with the tool type. This enables the selection of property values on the tools of the tool type.

Is this a Bodymaker Tooling Type?

If this check box is selected, the tool type is used in bodymakers. This setting enforces rules that determine which tools are permitted in tool packs. This setting is applicable only in can-making factories.

Is this a Tooling Type that has Sub Tools?

If this check box is selected, tools of this type must have sub tools loaded before they can be loaded into machines.

Are Tools of this Type Sub Tools of Parent Tools?

If this check box is selected, tools of this type are considered sub tools and cannot be loaded directly into machines. You must first load them into parent tools.

Tool Change Reason Set

The tool state change reason set for the tool type.
