Assets

An asset represents a piece of equipment within a factory, or any component of such equipment. These are used to support maintenance operations, enabling tracking, scheduling, and management of maintenance activities within the factory.

To view and configure assets, navigate to Configuration > Assets > Assets.

You can use these options on the Assets screen:

• Add: Allows you to create a new asset.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing assets.
• Delete: Allows you to delete the existing assets.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing assets. You cannot use retired assets in production.
• Sub Assets: Allows you to view and configure sub-assets associated with the existing assets.
• Procedures: Allows you to view and configure maintenance procedure for the assets.
• Add Document: Allows you to attach documents to assets.
• Documents: Allows you to view and manage the documents linked to assets.
