Workflow Types

Workflow Types define the approval flow for a Workflow Routing. This controls the stages of approval that a workflow must pass through before being used on a production order.

To view and configure workflow types, navigate to Configuration > Workflow > Workflow Types.

You can use these options on the Workflow Types screen:

• Add: Allows you to create a new workflow.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing workflow types.
• Delete: Allows you to delete the existing workflow types.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing workflow types. You cannot assign retired workflow types to new production orders. Retired workflow types are excluded from reports unless included in the report’s filter options.
• Approval: Allows you to create an approval for workflow types.
• Routings: Allows you to view the workflow routings using the workflow types.
