Material Groups

Materials are assigned to Material Groups using the Add or Edit option on the Materials screen. Materials Groups serve as essential categories that facilitate insightful reporting and analysis.

To view and configure material groups, navigate to Configuration > Materials > Material Groups.

You can use these options on the Material Groups screen:

• Add: Allows you to create a new material group.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing material groups.
• Delete: Allows you to delete the existing material groups.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing material groups. You cannot assign material to retired material groups. Retired material groups can be excluded from reports unless included in the report’s filter options.
• Material Sub Group: Allows to view and configure sub groups for the material groups.
