Specification Types

Specification Types are used to classify Specification Limits and can be used to define customer specific Specification Limits. A Specification Limit can belong to only a single Specification Type.

To view and configure specification types, navigate to Configuration > Quality > Specification Types.

You can use these options on the Specification Types screen:

• Add: Allows you to create a new specification type.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing specification types.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing specification types. You cannot use retired specification types in production.
