Meter Specs

Meter Specifications are limits used to evaluate meter readings. These specifications serve as reference points to determine whether energy usage falls within acceptable, expected, or abnormal ranges.

Meter Specifications are assigned to a single meter item. Only a single specification can be defined for a meter item if the meter is not linked to a Stopped State Machine. A specification can be defined for each energy status (Off, Stopped and Running) for a meter item if the meter is linked to a Stopped State Machine.

To view and configure meter specs, navigate to Configuration > Energy > Meter Specs.

You can use these options on the Meter Specs screen:

• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing meter specs.
• Revise: Allows you to revise the existing meter specs.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing meter specs. You cannot use retired meter specs in production.
