Asset Categories
Asset Categories are user-defined lists used to classify assets for reporting and analysis purposes. These categories enable grouping of similar assets, facilitating streamlined reporting, filtering, and performance tracking across asset types.
To view and configure asset categories, navigate to .
You can use these options on the Asset Categories screen:
- Add: Allows you to create a new asset category.
- Edit: Allows you to modify the existing asset categories.
- Delete: Allows you to delete the existing asset categories.
- Retire: Allows you to retire the existing asset categories. You cannot use retired asset categories in production.
