Suppliers

Suppliers represent external companies that provide assets, products, inventory, work, or tools to the manufacturing plant. These are essential entities in the supply chain and must be configured to ensure seamless procurement, replenishment, and production support processes.

To view and configure suppliers, navigate to Configuration > Organisation > Suppliers.

You can use these options on the Suppliers screen:

• Add: Allows you to create a new supplier.
• Edit: Allows you to modify the existing suppliers.
• Retire: Allows you to retire the existing suppliers. Retired suppliers cannot be assigned to newly created deliveries, inventory, etc. Retired suppliers can be excluded from reports unless included in the report’s filter options.
• Materials: Allows you to assign and unassign materials to suppliers.
