Production tab
You can specify this information:
- Allow Jobs to be stopped
- If this check box is selected, end users can stop running jobs from the operator dashboard.
- Allow Jobs to be started/changed
- If this check box is selected, end users can start new jobs from the operator dashboard.
- Allow next scheduled Jobs to be started
- If this check box is selected, end users can start scheduled jobs from the operator dashboard.
- Production Stop Reason Set
-
The set of production stop reasons for the line.
- Setup Mode
-
The process to manage setup periods on the line. Possible values:
- No: The setup is not recorded on the line.
- Manual: The end user manually ends the setup period.
- Automatic: The setup period automatically terminates when a trigger occurs.
- End Setup Time Trigger
-
The trigger to end the setup period. This field is displayed only when the Setup Mode field value is set to Automatic. Possible values:
- OPC Item: Ends the setup period based on an OPC Item. This requires Infor assistance to configure.
- Unit Count on Machine: Ends the setup period when a unit count is recorded on a machine on the line.
- Inventory Created on Job: Ends the setup period when a number of inventory packs are created.
- Speed > X% Target: When the manufacturing speed reaches a threshold percentage.
- Ramp Up Mode
-
The process to manage ramp up periods on the line. This field is displayed only when the Ramp Up Mode field value is set to Automatic. Possible values:
- No: The ramp up is not recorded on the line.
- Manual: The end user manually ends the ramp up period.
- Automatic: The ramp up period automatically terminates when a trigger occurs.
- End Ramp Up Trigger
-
The trigger to end the ramp-up period. This field is displayed only when the Setup Mode field value is set to Automatic. Possible values:
- OPC Item: The ramp-up period automatically ends based on an OPC item. Infor assistance is required for configuration.
- Unit Count on Machine: The ramp-up period automatically ends when a unit account is recorded on a machine on the line.
- Inventory Created on Job: The ramp-up period automatically ends when a certain number of inventory packs has been created for the job.
- Speed > X% Target: The ramp-up period automatically ends when the manufacturing speed reaches a certain threshold percentage.
- Allow operator to sign on to
-
Determines whether users can sign on to a single line only or multiple lines at a time. Possible values:
- Multiple concurrent lines
- Single line at a time
- Enable Production Report sweeps
- If this check box is selected, production performance report calculations are enabled for the line.
- Base Output Counts on
-
The type of counter to use when accumulating material counts produced on the line. This field is enabled only if the Enable Production Report sweeps check box is selected. Possible values:
- None: Counts are not calculated.
- Inventory Packs: Counts calculated based on the created inventory packs.
- Counters: Counts calculated based on the output unit counts.
- Base Input Counts on
-
The type of counter to use when accumulating material counts coming to the line. This field is enabled only if the Enable Production Report sweeps check box is selected. Possible values:
- None: Counts are not calculated.
- Inventory Packs: Counts calculated based on consumed inventory packs.
- Counters: Counts calculated based on the input unit counts.
- Base Re-Introduction Counts on
-
The type of counter to use for counting reintroduced inventory counts. This field is enabled only if the Enable Production Report sweeps check box is selected. Possible values:
- None: Counts are not calculated.
- Inventory Packs: Counts calculated based on reintroduced inventory packs.
- Counters: Counts calculated based on reintroduced unit counts.
- Interval Mode
-
The accumulation mode to use when reporting figures within the production performance report. This field is enabled only if the Enable Production Report sweeps check box is selected. Possible values:
- Hour: Report breaks down by hour at a minimum.
- Job/Shift: Report breaks down by job and shift at a minimum.
- Area Calculation Method
-
The method used to determine the area of materials produced. This field is enabled only if the Enable Production Report sweeps check box is selected. Possible values:
- None: Area calculation is disabled.
- Sheet to Sheet/Pieces: Calculates areas using length, width, and quantity.
- Reel to Sheet/Pieces: Calculates input area using length and width; output area is calculated using length, width, and quantity.
- Reel to Reel: Calculates input and output areas using length and width.
- Treat Production Loss as a Quality Loss for OEE
- If this check box is selected, production loss is treated as a quality issue, reducing the quality percentage in OEE calculations. If this check box is not selected, production loss is treated as a performance loss, reducing the performance percentage in OEE calculations. This check box is enabled only if the Enable Production Report sweeps check box is selected.
- Adjust Output Counters if they contain scrap counts
- If this check box is selected, the output counts are adjusted by deducting the scrap counts recorded at the output machines. This adjustment applies only to counters. This check box is enabled only if the Enable Production Report sweeps check box is selected.
- Group Output
- If this check box is selected, the line contributes to the line group output used for OEE calculations. This check box is enabled only if the Enable Production Report sweeps check box is selected.
- Group Waste
- If this check box is selected, the line contributes to the line group waste used for OEE calculations. This check box is enabled only if the Enable Production Report sweeps check box is selected.
- Group Downtime
- If this check box is selected, the line contributes to the line group downtime used for OEE calculations. This check box is enabled only if the Enable Production Report sweeps check box is selected.
