Global schedule

Maintenance procedures can be defined globally before assets are available. These procedures contain expected triggers and frequencies that apply to all future assets using the procedure. When a plant-specific asset is scheduled with the procedure, the default frequency from the global schedule is used unless overridden.

This allows planning to begin even if asset commissioning is still in progress and ensures consistent scheduling practices across multiple plants.

Example

In this example, a certain type of tool requires maintenance every six weeks, however one of the tools is from a different supplier and requires maintenance every two weeks. The procedure can be configured with a six-week frequency however the frequency can be overridden to two weeks on the specific tool.
