Maintenance materials

Maintenance materials in Infor MES refer to the spare parts and consumables used during maintenance work. These materials can be defined, imported, or queried from external systems such as ERP.

Here are some ways in which maintenance materials are populated to MES:

Defined in MES

Materials can be manually defined and maintained within the system.

Imported from ERP

Materials can be synced from ERP systems and stored in MES.

MES projects the materials required to fulfill the current maintenance schedule, based on the materials defined against the steps.

Materials can be defined individually or as a BOM, using the standard BOM functionality of MES.
