Automatic scheduling

Infor MES includes a background process that automatically evaluates and populates future maintenance work based on configured triggers. This process can be run at any frequency, typically once per day.

Each time it runs, it checks the maintenance procedures linked to each asset, and creates a maintenance order for every occasion that the procedure is expected to occur. This order includes a planned start date calculated using the defined triggers.

Period

Schedules the order based on the last completed work and the defined recurrence.

Counters

Uses asset usage counters to forecast when a trigger threshold will be reached. Accuracy improves as more usage data is collected.

Events

Predicted using event probability settings. MES improves this prediction over time as more data is gathered.
