Base units of measurement

Each meter type has a base unit of measure for 'consumption' and 'rate' measurements. Examples include:

• Electricity: Consumption in kWh, Rate in kW
• Natural Gas: Consumption in m³, Rate in m³/hr

Reports in MES show energy usage in the configured base unit. Unit conversion rates can be configured to standardize meter readings for accurate reporting.
